COVID-19 Testing

Testing is critically important to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. If you have symptoms or have had a known exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, you should be tested regardless of your vaccination status. If you have recovered from COVID-19 within the past 90 days, you should consult with a healthcare provider regarding being tested again for new or worsening symptoms. Quarantine if you have been in close contact (within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone who has COVID-19 unless you have been fully vaccinated.

Free COVID-19 rapid testing will be available by appointment at the Health Department each week.  Register for an appointment by calling (585) 786-8890

Testing for COVID-19 is widely available throughout New York State. Find a site near you here.
