Sheriffs Department Civil Division

This division is under the direction of Sgt. Christopher Kobylanski with assistance from Deputy Samuel West and Civil Clerks Sue May and Denise Stowell. This division is responsible for the service and enforcement of all civil process. Civil process includes serving divorce papers, lawsuit papers, eviction papers, etc., as well as enforcing the resulting money judgement, wage garnishees, court ordered evictions, and other types of seizures. This is a highly specialized field as well as a busy one. This division collects about $250,000.00 each year while turning over about $40,000.00 in fees to the County annually.
