Civil

This division is under the direction of Sgt. David Linder with assistance from one assigned Deputy Sheriff and two Civil Clerks. This division is responsible for the service and enforcement of all civil process. Civil process includes serving divorce papers, lawsuit papers, eviction papers, etc., as well as enforcing the resulting money judgement, wage garnishees, court ordered evictions, and other types of seizures. This is a highly specialized field as well as a busy one. This division collects about $250,000.00 each year while turning over about $36,000.00 in fees to the County.
