Personal aide service in the Wyoming County area:

a).    EISEP (Expanded In-home Services for the Elderly Program): Personal Care Aides, Housekeeper/Chore, and Case Management – call the Office for the Aging at 786-8833 or 1-800-836-0067.

b).    Home Care & Hospice: Nursing Supervision, Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides Homemakers (Private Agency) Telephone Number (585) 786-7879.

c).   Those with Medicaid should call their caseworker at the Department of Social Service at (585)786-8900 to request home care services.

d).    Independent home care aides. Call Office for the Aging for an updated list (585)786-8833.


Home Delivered Meals

Hot meals are provided to homebound, frail, elderly, or disabled people who are 60 years of age or older and reside in Wyoming County.

a).    Suggested donation is $3.00 per meal.

b).    Referrals for home delivered meals may be made by calling the Office for the Aging at 786-8833 or 1-800-836-0067.



Care for terminally ill clients with life expectancy of 6 months or less. Services include nursing and physician care, pain control, personal care, family support, spiritual care, and bereavement support.

Provides non-medical support for caregivers of Wyoming County, 60 years of age or older. There are three options:

a.)    In-Home - Personal Care Aides for the home.

b.) Adult Day Care - Available at the Cloisters and WCCHS-Adult Daycare, for both full and half days.

c.)   Overnight Respite - Available at the Cloisters and WCCHS-Adult Daycare,.

Suggested donations are $5.00/hour for in-home care, $10.00/day for Adult Day Care, $25.00/day for Overnight Respite. Please call the Office of the Aging at (585)786-8833 or 1-800-836-0067.
