Birth Control Services
The Reproductive Health Center offers a wide variety of birth control
methods, and can meet the needs of most people. Our friendly staff will help
you decide which method is best for you based on your unique situation.
Emergency Contraception
Emergency Contraception, often referred to as "Plan B", is an emergency contraceptive pill that can prevent pregnancy after contraceptive failure, unprotected sex, or sexual assault. It is not RU-486 (the abortion pill) and will not work if you are already pregnant. Emergency Contraception should be taked within 3 days of unprotected sex and can reduce risk of pregnancy by up to 89%.
