Emergency Contraception
Emergency
Contraception, often referred to as "Plan B", is an emergency contraceptive
pill that can prevent pregnancy after contraceptive failure, unprotected
sex, or sexual assault. It is not RU-486 (the abortion pill) and will not
work if you are already pregnant. Emergency Contraception should be taked
within 3 days of unprotected sex and can reduce risk of pregnancy by up to
89%.
