LAWN MAINTENANCE? Turf areas will be mowed once each week when grass reaches a height of 3.5". Grass clippings will be removed only when they are so thick as to look unsightly or may cause harm to the lawn. Excess debris will be removed from site. ? Mowing height may vary 2.5" to 3.5" depending on the season.? In the event the lawn becomes soft from excessive rain, mowing will be postponed until the sod is firm enough to support the equipment without causing damage.? Grass clippings and clumps will be removed from bed areas, streets, curbs, parking bumpers, sidewalks, patios and entrance ways.? All tall grass left around trees, fences, window wells, signs, buildings, etc. will be trimmed after mowing.? Any grass or weeds growing in cracks in the sidewalks or parking lots will be sprayed with weed killer.? Walks, drives and curb areas will be power edged as needed to maintain a neat appearance. It is possible that lawns may not need cutting every week under these conditions.? The area of the Fire Training Center known as the Shooting Range will be kept free of weeds and the area unable to be mowed will be maintained by “Weed Whacking” as will the base of the fence along Wethersfield Road.? The surplus area located at the Public Health Department will be maintained and mowed once.
The County will provide the contractor with the necessary utilities such as water and electricity.
This Agreement may be modified or amended by mutual consent of both parties. Any such modification or amendment must be in writing, duly executed by both parties and shall be attached to and become part of this Agreement. This Agreement may not be assigned, transferred or in any way disposed of by the contractor without the prior written approval of the County of Wyoming.
