OUR MISSION
The Wyoming County Department of Planning
& Development’s mission is to improve the quality of life for all county
residents by:
· Offering professional planning assistance to municipalities and individuals,
helping to ensure that the county’s future growth respects community
character and is consistent with publicly supported goals.
Effective and responsive planning results in communities that better
provide for the many needs of
residents.
· Encouraging appropriate development and growth by working cooperatively with
the County Chamber of Commerce, the Wyoming County Industrial Development
Agency and various other state and local groups, facilitating sound business
investments that create good jobs and diverse economic opportunities.
A vibrant economy is essential to making Wyoming County a great place
to live, work, and to conduct business.
