Legal advisors for seniors 60 years of age and older, are provided from the Center for Elder Law and Justice. The criteria are established through the Federal Older American’s Act. Issues that may be discussed are:
- Assigning a Power of Attorney
- Consumer Problems
- Landlord / Tenant Disputes
- Medicaid Eligibility
- Planning in the Event of Chronic Care
- Preparing Living Wills and Health Care Proxies
a). A suggested contribution of $10 per hour.
