Incarcerated individual Visitation Information
Visit Amounts & Times
The visitation week runs from Sunday through Thursday.
Visitor(s) must be present at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled visit. Failure to do so will result in the visit having to be rescheduled.
Visiting hours are:
Sunday 9:30 am - 5:00 pm
Monday 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm; and 5:30 pm - 8:50 pm
Tuesday 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Wednesday 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm; and 5:30 pm - 8:50 pm
Thursday 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
For further information or to schedule a visit, call 585-786-8808 Sunday through Thursday, after 9:00 am and until the conclusion of visitation hours. No visits will be scheduled outside of these hours.
The incarcerated individual which you are visiting may have up to two visitors at one time. A child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Incarcerated individuals are allowed only one visit per day for up to a 1-hour duration, and incarcerated individuals are allowed two visits per week. Visitors may leave early if they wish, however, once a visitor leaves, they will need to schedule another visit in order to return. Visiting hours cannot be split among a large group of visitors, only 2 visitors may enter for any scheduled visit period. Any properly identified person shall, with the incarcerated individual’s consent, be permitted to visit that incarcerated individual. A prospective visitor who is under 18 years of age may be restricted from visiting an incarcerated individual if a parent or legal guardian does not accompany him/her.
Losing Visitation Rights
An incarcerated individual may forfeit his/her rights to visits generally or a visit from a specific person if the incarcerated individual or the visitor violates any jail rule(s) or state law. Curtailment of visitation is necessary for the safety, security and general order of the jail.
Visiting Room & Contact Visits
Visits are conducted in the visiting room. All visits will be contact visits. If for any reason the jail administrator suspects a breach in jail security, safety or general order the incarcerated individual will have non-contact visitation privilege only. Visits are not conducted for incarcerated individuals anywhere outside the jail.
Incarcerated individuals and visitors are permitted to embrace and or kiss once at the beginning and once at the end of the visit. Incarcerated individuals and visitors must conduct themselves in a quiet and orderly manner. At no time will fondling or prolonged embraces be allowed. Profanity and/or loud talking will not be permitted at anytime. Children are not allowed to be on the incarcerated individual’s side of the visit room at any time. Incarcerated individuals must remain seated at all times during the duration of their visit.
No Property Transfers
No transmitting of any materials or objects from visitors and incarcerated individuals are permitted unless prior approval is obtained by the supervising Correction Officer. An inincarcerated individual's property may be signed out during their visit, providing they advise the visitation officer at the beginning of their visit.
